Daily Workshop 1: Eternal Spring Chi Kung
Eternal Spring Chi Kung is a new program developed by Master C.K. Chu. It is one of the best exercises available today for healing and regeneration in people of all ages. The exercise is easy to learn, and you will feel invigorated in just one or two classes. It revitalizes and activates your life force (called chi in Chinese), reduces imbalances, and improves your overall well-being. It also works on the subconscious level to reduce stress. It improves flexibility of the joints, your range of motion, muscle strength, and balance. Specific benefits reported by people who practice the program include: higher levels of energy, reduction of lower back, knee and hip pain, including pain from surgeries, as well as the lessening and elimination of migraine headaches, arthritis, diabetes, blood disorders, and Parkinson’s Disease.
The exercise consists of a series of simple postures and movements accompanied with deep diaphragmatic breathing. Meditative, gentle and slow moving, the exercise improves one’s lung capacity, body alignment, and tones and strengthens the tendons and muscles.
Daily Workshop 2: Tai Chi Chuan
Tai Chi Chuan, an ancient Chinese martial art, is the most popular exercise in the world for some very good reasons. It is well documented that tai chi is good for coordination and balance in students of all ages. Also, it aids in relief from such diseases as arthritis, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, as well as neurological/psychological ailments like Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss, and depression. We will teach you the slow movements and the accompanying deep breathing patterns. In turn, “chi,” or internal energy, will be cultivated in your body, thus fostering the mind/body connection.

Private lessons are available in all areas of practice related to tai chi including: Eternal Spring Chi Kung, Tai Chi, Nei Kung, self defense techniques, and Taoist meditation. Master Chu will help you construct a customized training program for improving your health, including a series of exercises you can do on your own at home.
