Lectures and Private Consultations for the 2011 Cruise
Lecture 1: Food and Love - the Biological Basis of Emotions
Without food we don’t exist...in a physical body. Without love, we don’t come into a physical existence. So how does food influence and create the most powerful emotion love? Or any of the other emotions, like fear, compassion, anger, remorse, caring. Let’s examine the effects of meat, sugar, carrots, brown rice, and other common foods on producing or altering our feelings, our attitudes, our actions. We can trace the effects of foods all the way back to the quality of our genes, our development in the womb, our growth and the expression of our life’s energy, how we feel about ourselves and others. And how we can change.
Lecture 2: Agriculture from Hell to Heaven - What Are We Doing To Ourselves!
The quality of the foods we choose is as germane as the selection of foods. We can go organic or biodynamic. We can buy chemicalized, commercial foods in any supermarket. Studies clearly indicate the massive difference in vitamin and mineral content. We can also grow our own foods, be it in a garden or a pot in the windowsill....the invisible relationship to nature will be there, though maybe not measurable to the scientist. And then there is permaculture to protect the planet, Masanbu Fukuoka’s Natural Agriculture where you hardly do any work at all...not even tilling the soil or pestaciding...so millions of soil bacteria proliferate and don’t get killed. And newer (more ancient yet) is Natural Specific Healing Agriculture which is purported to cure any disorder. This new (ancient) method was shared by a woman in Siberia who displays amazing insights into Nature and our infinite potential. We are daily choosing our Heaven or Hell.
